Mission
The School of Medicine Office of Faculty and Instructional Development
represents and supports women's interests as part of faculty
development. Established in October 1994, OFID incorporates faculty
develoment,
Women in Medicine and Science, instructional
development and the Computer
Based Instruction Lab.
The goal of faculty development is to
assist faculty in becoming accomplished, productive, and successful in their
chosen endeavors of teaching, research, patient care, or administration,
and in sustaining their vitality both now and in the future.
